Common Questions
FAQs
How far in advance should I book?
For weekends and popular vehicles we'd suggest two to three weeks. That said, we hold last-minute availability and can often turn a booking around the same day — call us and we'll tell you honestly what's free.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Your photocard driving licence, a DVLA check code generated within the last 21 days, photo ID and two proofs of address dated within 90 days. The credit card used for the deposit must be in the hirer's name.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Comprehensive insurance is included in every rental. A standard excess applies, which you can reduce by taking our excess reduction option at booking.
Can I add a second driver?
Additional drivers can be added for a small daily fee, provided they meet the same age, licence and verification requirements as the main hirer.
What happens if I go over the mileage?
Extra miles are charged at a fixed per-mile rate that's stated on your quote before you book. If you know you'll need more, tell us up front and we'll build a larger allowance into the price.
Where do you deliver to?
Anywhere in mainland UK. Local delivery and collection is included in the rate; anything further is quoted per mile and confirmed before you book. Wherever you are in the country, we can get a car to you.
Do you offer a chauffeur service?
Yes — every vehicle on the fleet can be booked with a professional chauffeur, which removes the licence checks and the security deposit from the process entirely. Female chauffeurs are available on request at no extra charge; just mention it when you enquire and we'll arrange it.
Do you cover masjids, janazahs and khatam gatherings?
Yes, regularly. We provide chauffeured transport for masjid attendance, janazahs, khatam houses, weddings, functions and family gatherings, anywhere in mainland UK. Tell us the timings when you enquire and we'll be there early — our drivers understand these occasions and know to stay in the background. Multiple vehicles can be arranged for larger families, and female chauffeurs are available on request.
What happens if I break the rental terms?
We operate a three-warning policy. Every vehicle is tracked, and if we see a breach — speeding, dangerous driving, smoking in the car, an unauthorised driver, taking it outside the agreed area — you'll get a warning by phone and in writing. On the third warning the hire ends immediately, the car has to come back, and no refund is due for the unused time. Serious breaches can end a hire straight away without three warnings. It's not something we enjoy doing, and it almost never comes up — treat the car properly and you'll never hear about it.
What do I need to check when I collect the car?
We'll walk around the car with you at handover. Check the bodywork, wheels, tyres, glass and interior, and make sure anything you spot is written on the agreement before you drive away. We photograph and video every car at handover and on return, so it's in everyone's interest that the condition report is accurate. Once you've signed and driven off, the car is your responsibility until it comes back.
What's the fuel policy?
Like for like. We record the fuel or charge level on your agreement and the car comes back with the same. If it's short, we refuel it and take the cost plus a service fee from your deposit. Tyres, wheels and glass aren't covered by the insurance, so a puncture or a kerbed wheel is chargeable — worth knowing before you park tight to a kerb.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes — see our cancellation terms for the full schedule. In short, cancellations more than 7 days before collection are refunded in full.
