About The R8 V10 Roadster
The R8 is the last of a dying breed — a mid-engined supercar with a naturally aspirated V10 and no turbochargers anywhere near it. It revs to over 8,000rpm and sounds like nothing else on the road, and in Performance specification it does it with quattro traction that makes it usable in weather other supercars would refuse.
The cabin is pure Audi: Virtual Cockpit digital display, flat-bottomed steering wheel with the engine start and drive-select controls built into it, and Nappa leather sports seats.
Ours is finished in orange with black exterior detailing and the full black interior. It is valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return so there is never any dispute about condition.
Book it for a weekend with somewhere worth driving to. The roof takes twenty seconds to drop and you will not want to put it back up.
