Lamborghini Urus Performante

Performante is Lamborghini's word for "we have taken it further", and on the Urus that means 666 horsepower, 47kg less to carry, a ride height dropped by 20mm and a track widened by 16mm. The air suspension is gone, replaced by steel springs — a deliberate choice that makes it sharper and more honest to drive.

The carbon bonnet, carbon roof and that enormous rear wing are not decoration. Neither is Rally mode, which is unique to this car and exactly as entertaining as it sounds.

Ours is finished in Arancio orange over a black Alcantara cabin with orange stitching, hexagon quilting and the starlight headliner. Black alloys, orange calipers and the full carbon exterior package.

It is valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return so there is never any dispute about condition. Three Urus on the fleet now — this is the loudest of them.
