SV is Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations division let loose on the Sport, and the result is the quickest thing they have ever built. Twin-turbo V8, six-piston brakes, carbon detailing and a bespoke suspension system that keeps two and a half tonnes remarkably flat through a corner.

The cabin is where it separates itself from every other performance SUV — SV performance seats, a curved touchscreen, a Meridian sound system and the calm, quiet cabin Range Rover has always done better than anyone.

Ours is presented in blue with the carbon exterior detailing, gloss-black alloys and the cream-and-black interior. It is valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return.
